coursework problems

i know this forum is more for university students but i was searching around and couldn't find any for gcse students so here i go. i have four english courseworks overdue (i think), most of my d.t. folder and my biology coursework along with some history work. now that it is the summer holidays, i was thinking this might be the perfect opportunity for me to turn things around. but i just can't get to doing it. when i do, i experience mental block so i have pretty much given up hope now. has anyone experienced this before and what do they feel is the best way to remedy it?

RE: coursework problems

For last two years I am working with as a freelance writer. It requires a good ability to write a lot of quality papers till certain deadline – and you are really limited while choosing the topic and details for the paper. At the beginning I had nothing of the kind, and the mental block was very familiar thing. Well, what you can do – is to seat, tell yourself that tomorrow morning you will start working on the paper (or even set the reminder) and completely forget about till tomorrow morning. Actually, when now I feel unable to write I do this – and next morning I am really able to do the work.

You could try breaking down what you need to do, eg, research, introduction, topics to right about/draw/explain, findings, analysis, conclusion - obviously the list would be different for each piece Smile

Then look down the list, and either decide that you'll do the first point from each list today, or choose a list andwork though it. Do one point, and then have a break - eat, go for a walk, watch TV - then come back and do another.
