Now the forum is getting a few more visitors I thought I should put up a guide saying exactly what you can and can't do. The rules will be enforced my me and Willa and possibly more moderators if i think the site needs them.

1. Posts should be related in some way to students, university or education. General chat type threads are not allowed and will be deleted at the moderators discretion.

2. Spam or advertising is not allowed, though it's fine to mention interesting sites. If you do want to mention your own site use the advertising forum and follow the rules there.

3. Personal abuse of members is not permitted. Anyone using the forum to abuse other members will have their posts edited or deleted and possibly be banned.

4. Don't put your email address on the forum. Anyone asking for advice to be sent to their email address or offering their email address for queries will have their post edited.

5. Only put your personal statement on the forum if you've finished the applications process. Otherwise it's possible you could jeopardise your application if someone copies it and applies the same year.

6. Please use specific titles. Don't use something like "help me" as your post probably won't even get read by most people and will be renamed by the mods. If you're talking about a specific subject or uni put that in the title too.

More rules will come when I think of them The moderators also reserve the right to edit any post they wish - though should give you a reason for doing so if they do. Remember - the rules are here to make the forum a better place.
