I was doing a seach on google the other day and an advert like this caught my eye

Clicking on the link I was taken to a site called fizbot which supposidly lists the top 5 bank accounts for students. Looking at this a bit closer there was no comparism of bank accounts or any information relating to students - in fact none of them were even student accounts.

This advert was just designed to get people to sign up to particular bank accounts because the site makes a small amount of money for every customer who signs up though the site.

Basically make sure you read around when picking a student account - I'm not sure if all the banks have announced their packages yet so there arn't any comparisms yet. However when they do come out Moneysavingexpert will probably be a good place to look.
