Global Award open to all scholars and students

Today we are recording almost everything; weather, temperature, economic indicators, etc. The one thing we do not record is human opinion. The Internet allows us to voice our opinions freely but there is no centralised place where concrete data on peoples' opinions is recorded freely and accessible to all.

Do you think that with the huge advances in technology, it is important to record human opinion? Just as we record any other environmental factor? After all isn't human opinion an environmental factor? It shapes policy, which in turn affects the world around us.

We have created a platform to do just this and we believe that this data set is going to be critical in the future, with our societies being increasingly controlled by technology.

We have also bet the bank on the fact that students and scholars are the most important group that can get this ball rolling and that will be affected by this in the future. So we have the humanopinion.org Education Award, open to all students around the world up that is up for grabs

So my question is, do you think that students of the world could build that platform and start that database so that in the future we have a digital record of human opinion?
