The other day I got a conditional offer from Queen Mary for Law, but a rejection from Manchester - they said it's because I take Drama and theatre studies - its "too practical"!

Was a bit gutted but happy about MY FIRST OFFER!!! How's everyone else doing?

Well done with your offer - I don't know why manchester would reject you just becuase you choose to take a particular subject though - did they provided you with any more info about why they rejected you?

Well what they said was that although it seemed I was a strong candidate and had a good PS and reference they had to reject me as they don't accept Drama - but that it literally the only university that has such a stupid rule!!!

When I asked well you can see I have the potential so I don't really understand they said that there has to be a cut off point somewhere.
