I just found out about this website and think its the best place to solve my problem. I am applying for an accounting and management course. I really dont like Maths and therefore dont do it at A-Level, but i like the accounting bit of Business studies and would like to study that. However i am concerned about it becoming too mathematical at univerisity. Can someone please advice me on how accounting and management can be.

You should be looking for Management and Accounting. Therefore Management is the primary subject.

If you search via UCAS sometimes they do not give all the information, so all I do is copy the course number, name and university name into google. This normally returns more information, such as what modules will be taken. Find the one with less finance in.

I am also applying for a Management position but I'm REALY bad at Maths now as i have gone 2 years since GCSE not doing it. Thank god for calculators and google for equations.

That's great congratulations to the calculators and Google! Let me share you a story about a person I know who in first place hated math so much. But as she continued to study with all the mathematics, now she can beat all the formulas in front of her all fondly call herself to be a math lover.

Also, accounting is not only about math, other fields you might find interesting are funds, management and taxes.

Yeah,I will share a short story, i already encountered a person that taking up management before and like you,she was bad at maths.Actually she was a math hater before,but as time goes by she became a good learner in math.And now i can call her as a math lover.

Yeah, maths isn't a subject to hate. It is something that you can live. Just enjoy learning it and you will not know when you start living it. Maths is the most interesting subject but the only thing is that you should understand it first and then it would be fun. You just need to have patience and keep practicing it until you start living it.

Well as I think never ignore to anyone I mean to say that never hate maths because I believe that accounting will be best for you if you really interested in it. We should keep interest in it than and than we can success in it.
